BTS were appointed by Morgan Sindall in November 2024 as part of their partnership with Welwyn & Hatfield District Council to retrofit their remaining solid wall properties. The upgrades included External Wall Insulation (EWI) and new roofs.
The work consisted of the Installation of a K-System EWI system with mineral wool board, basecoat, mesh and silicone render finish. Due to the properties being located within a conservation area, all existing features were required to be replicated. Particular attention was paid to the replacement of existing stone window cills in a contrasting black finish and banding to the front façade, along with the lead effect front entrance canopy roofs.
All work was completed to PAS 2030 standards and SWIGA warrantied.
